  • Program designed for:

    This program has been designed for factory leaders who have the responsibility to coordinate, facilitate and promote the development of the TPM in the company, factory or production plant.

    Length of the programme:

    The program has a duration of 70 hours which must be completed within a period not exceeding four months.

    The program has a duration of 30 hours of online training and 40 hours required to perform four laboratories in your company following the technical guidelines provided.

    For each of the laboratories, the student must submit a written report, which will be reviewed by two senior TPM coaches, who will provide a feedback report with recommendations for action.

    This training program for TPM Coordinators has been designed taking into account the guidelines of the Japanese Institute of Plant Maintenance (JIPM), new developments in talent management, generative leadership and high performance team development. In addition to teaching a set of TPM techniques, we are interested in training you as a TPM project coordinator for your company.

    This program is composed of the following units:


    Unit 1.
    TPM Fundamental Principles - Definitions, TPM evolution, TPM dynamics, TPM and top management, TPM as a management system, structure for its development, etc.

    Unit 2.
    Production efficiency improvement concept - Operational Excellence, measurement of 16 losses, OEE calculation and overall efficiency improvement concepts.

    Unit 3.
    Autonomous Maintenance. Organizational principles, steps for its development, progress audits, visual management, training programs and people development.

    Unit 4.
    Planned Maintenance. Model of efficient maintenance, development of steps, management of breakdowns and support to the development of autonomous maintenance.

    Unit 5.
    Focused Improvements. Construction of loss tree, management of measures, management of Focused Improvement projects, tools for the analysis and study of problems, promotion of the culture of continuous improvement.

    Unit 6.
    Education and training. Education model for TPM, structure of the pillar in steps, development of internal trainers, definition of competencies to be developed, development of training programs and recognition of training leaders.

    Unit 7.
    Quality Maintenance. Quality losses, steps of the methodology for the solution of quality problems, structure and development of the pillar.

    Unit 8.
    The TPM coordinator as an agent of change. Study of roles, responsibilities. Soft-skills of a TPM coordinator.

    Unit 9.
    TPM Development Program - Study of the planning, organization and global implementation process of the TPM project.

    Unit 10.
    Evaluation and monitoring of activities - Step and pillar audits. Audits of the TPM coordination and management of the company. Analysis of the progress according to the standard of the TPM Award.

    Unit 11.
    Management and culture change for the effective development of TPM - Management model, conversations for action, generation of spaces of responsible autonomy. Recent advances on motivation and organization of operational work.

    The registration fee is € 1800 per student
